Australian-made Kenworths are built to endure.
Used for mining, logging, livestock, general freight and every other heavy-duty application under the sun, they regularly operate in the hottest and harshest environments, travel the most unforgiving roads and haul the largest of payloads – yet still remain the most durable heavy-duty trucks ever built.
So much so, that of the 60,000 + Kenworths produced in Australia since 1971, more than 70% remain registered and in active service. Many, with millions of kilometres on the clock ….. and counting. Application engineered is the key to this longevity. Kenworths work harder for longer, because each truck is purpose designed for its intended task, then manufactured to those exact specifications with uncompromising quality, at the world-class production facility in the Melbourne suburb of Bayswater.
The T610 is one of the most aerodynamic and fuel efficient production trucks ever to carry the iconic Kenworth badge. Suitable for virtually any application, the T610 is made to measure for line haul, including maximum payload 26m B-Double configurations.
The T610SAR with its classic Kenworth styling is as tough as it is durable, and the set forward front axle makes it an ideal workhorse for 19m B-Double, and tipper and dog applications.
The T659 has the versatility and power to operate in applications ranging from general freight to logging, mining or livestock haulage, on or off the highway in single or multiple trailer configurations. Supreme performance combined with comfort and safety makes the T659 one of the most versatile trucks on or off the road.
The distinctive sloping bonnet of the T659 gives excellent visibility and the drop front frame enables room for a large radiator providing exceptional cooling in the most arduous of conditions. The T659 is available in a 6x4, 8x4 and 8x6 configuration.
Kenworth's tradition of classic styling continues with the T909 and is versatile enough to operate in almost any application from logging to livestock, especially where fuel capacity and front axle weight is critical.
Whether in single trailer or multi-trailer road train configuration, on highway or the roughest outback track, the T909 has been designed, engineered and built in Australia to deliver unmatched performance in the harshest possible conditions. The T909 is available in a 6x4 and 8x6 configuration.
Australian designed and manufactured, high-quality materials and Kenworth's engineering expertise, place the Kenworth C5 Series trucks at the head of the field. The front axle is set forward, with integral power steering mounted ahead allowing maximum steering angles and better weight distribution. On or off-road, the C5 Series are made to endure some of the toughest environments in the world.
With features primarily designed to provide years of trouble free service, the Kenworth C509 proves itself daily in some of the roughest and toughest environments on earth. The C509 can be configured for very high GCM in mining and off road applications including remote road train, heavy haulage and mine service operations.
Available in a 6x4 and 8x4 configuration, supreme performance, comfort and safety come together in the C509, one of the most durable trucks on or off the road.
Developed to meet the needs of mine haul operations, the C510 is an off-highway truck, incorporating a 19 litre engine (600 hp/1950 lb-ft of torque) with manual transmission and a cooling capacity, which comfortably exceeds the 50°C ambient temperatures experienced in the remote mines of Australia. A higher cab, larger radiator core and hydraulic fan drive are all part of this Australian designed package. It's The benchmark for all heavy-haul tractor units.
With a requirement to meet the demands of off-highway operators in the mining sector, Kenworth has designed and manufactured it's biggest ever prime mover, the C540. Capable of handling extreme heavy-duty workloads in harsh operating conditions, the C540 in conjunction with powered trailers, has the capacity to gross 500 tonne and within the range of options available, can be custom engineered to suit its application and conditions.
The C540 mining truck, in conjunction with powered trailers, has the capacity to gross 500 tonnes; the power to pull up a six to eight per cent gradient; the gearing to cruise at 70 kph for distances up to 100 kilometres on the flat, and the durability to do it all day, every day.
Suited to most applications and available in 6x4, 8x4, 8x6 and 10x6 configurations, the K200 is ideal for B-Double and B-Triple applications. The K200 provides operators with exceptional productivity through Application Engineering, power and versatility. Simply put, you can haul bigger loads with greater ease and efficiency.
For the driver the K200 defines interior space and comfort, delivering easy sleeper access and room to move with a near flat floor. Another feature, the optional Active Cab Entry system, provides peace of mind for applications requiring frequent cab entry and exit.
With its tight turning circle, short bumper to back of cab, high carrying capacity and range of axle configurations, Kenworth's T359 is the perfect solution for many applications.
Designed for high centre of gravity loads i.e. agitators, Kenworth's Electronic Stability Program (ESP) improves vehicle stability, and our range of Electronic Brake Safety Systems (EBSS) further enhance vehicle control and accident avoidance.
The T359 is purpose-built to take on specific metro and intrastate applications with the productivity and attention to detail that you expect from Kenworth.
